Accessibility ↑
www.masadelante.com has been designed to be accessible for everyone.
This has been acheived by designing according to the standards set out by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) and by following the accessibility guidelines set by the WAI (Web Access Initiative).
Characteritics of this website↑
- To aid people who use screen readers, links have been placed at the top of the webpage that allow these users to skip straight to either the content or the menu. These links also make it easier to navigate this website via a PDA or a mobile phone.
- Most Web browsers have a text-resizing facility built into them, however most people are unaware of this feature. If you would like to find out how to control font-sizes by adjusting your browser (and maybe make it easier to view other websites as well) check out our browser font resizing instructions.
- Accesskeys have been used to facilitate site navigation. Most browsers support jumping to specific links by typing keys defined on the web site. On Windows, you can press ALT + an access key and then enter; on Macintosh, you can press Control + an access key. The following accesskeys are available in this website:
- 1 - Home page.
- 2 - Skip to main content.
- 9 - Contact page.
- 0 - Accessibility information (this page).
- s - Go to top
- The main menu and subnavigation menus are clearly visible using the standard blue text underlined formatting, the default link styles for the Internet. Should you have any trouble navigating the website, a link to the site map is always available at the left hand side of the footer.
- To facilitate orientation within the website, a small blue bar exists on all internal pages (except the 5 main pages of the website - home, services, portfolio, faq's and quote) and serves as a breadcrumb trail to let you know where you are and to show you the way home.
- This website contains two distinct types of links: external links, that link to other websites and internal links, that link to other parts of this website. The external links are blue in color and underlined with a dashed blue line, and highlite red when you hover over them. These links will open in a new browser window. The internal links are blue with a solid blue underline, and highlite orange in color. These links will open in the active browser.
- Acronyms and abbreviations that aren't links will appear with a light colored dashed underline and when hovered show the question mark ‘help’ cursor.
If you hold your mouse over any acronyms or abbreviations, 'tooltip' text will
pop up and offer a definition.
- This website was written with XHTML, CSS and JavaScript. To ensure that it functions properly across the many types of internet ready devices the code of this website has been validated by validators provided by the W3C. The clickable icons at the bottom of each page of this website link to the respective validator at the W3C for the page in question. The page has been designed in such a way that it will funtion properly in browswers that do not support either CSS or JavaScript.
